The midnight of 12th January,1983 saw a sweet and charming personality playing his Sarode in the raga Malkosh and Durga amidst a huge responsive audience in Tilak Maidan of Durgapur Steel Township in a whole night classical Music conferance orgd. by Coke Ovens club ,D.S.P.

The maestro was none other than Ostad Amjad Ali Khan of  Senia gharana.
